WHAT IS ATHLETEME?

AthleteMe is a digital support platform for everyday athletes, accessed via self pay subscription fee which provides subscribers access to our platform.

HOW DOES ATHLETEME WORK?

When you subscribe to AthleteMe, you will receive immediate email confirmation on how to register to access services via the ‘clinic in a pocket’ app. At the point of sign up, you also get the option to receive a free no obligation call from an insurance expert, access to a platform of Gym, retail and partner discounts and a link to join our digital community.

I am a business owner and want each of my employees to have access to these services, but I want to pay for them, is that possible?

Absolutely, please email welcome@athleteme.org with a brief description of what you want and one of the team will give you a call back ASAP!

How quick will I receive a call from the insurance expert aNd what should I do if I don’t get a call?

From point of sign up you will receive an initial call within 1-2 working days. Here they will discuss all your needs and then go away and do all the work; sourcing quotes, accessing providers and presenting the best solution for you and what you need. Haven’t had a call? Please email james@athleteme.org with your name, email address and phone number and we will get someone to contact you ASAP.

I didn’t opt for a call to discuss my insurance at point of sign up, but now I need to, can I still use them?

Absolutely, please email james@athleteme.org with your name, email address and phone number we will get one of the team to give you a call!

How quickly can I access the services on the clinic in a pocket app?

Immediately! As soon as you subscribe you will receive details of how to register. As soon as you register you will be good to go.

Who do I contact if I need help with the clinic in a pocket app or app service?

Can I add my spouse/partner and child to my clinic in a pocket app and will it cost extra?

Yes, you can add a spouse/partner and children under 18, and no it will not cost extra! You just share the allowances of the primary user.

You can do this by inviting them in the app. They will receive an email with details of how to register.

Children should be added by the primary user in the app.  

Please note – Only GP services are available to children under 18.  

Children over 18 will have to do their own subscription to AthleteMe to access the services.  

What happens if I need to cancel an appointment with SquareHealth?

You can cancel upcoming appointments by selecting ‘consultation history’ followed by ‘upcoming’ tab and choosing ‘cancel consultation’.

If you cancel your appointment more than an hour before, no problem. We will refresh your allowance and you will be free to book further appointments. 

Please note if you cancel an appointment within one hour of appointment start time, the appointment will be deducted from your annual allowance.

Are my medical records and personal details secure within the clinic in a pocket app?

Absolutely, your data is secure at every stage of the journey in the clinic in a pocket app. All data held by SquareHealth is encrypted. Please note, if you choose to email records from the app, these are not secure. You will be notified of this before you choose to use the email function.

Will my NHS GP be able to access my records?

There is an option to share your records with your NHS GP via email through the app.

When do I receive a new allowance of services in the clinic in a pocket app?

12 months after sign up, all allowances with Physiotherapy, Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Coach will automatically refresh, so no need to do anything. GP and Mental Health services are unlimited so will be accessible at all times during your membership.

Do I still get access to the services if I cancel the subscription to AthleteMe?

If you cancel your subscription to AthleteMe, your access to the clinic in a pocket app, discount platform and any other AthleteMe benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

If you wish to retract your cancellation, this can be done before the end of your current billing cycle. Please email welcome@athleteme.org

To cancel your AthleteMe subscription, please email cancel@athleteme.org. Please include your name and AthleteMe subscription email address.

Can I subscribe to AthleteMe outside of the UK?

At the moment, you can only sign up AthleteMe if you live in the UK. However, we are working hard with our partners to open this up to different countries... so watch this space!

I am a head coach and I want all my squad of players to have access to these services, but I want to pay for them, is that possible?

Absolutely, please email welcome@athleteme.org with a brief description of what you want and one of the team will give you a callback asap!

Do you have to be an athlete to subscribe to AthleteMe?

Absolutely not. Anyone, everyday athlete or not, can subscribe to AthleteMe and get access to the services.

How old do I have to be to subscribe to AthleteMe?

You have to be minimum 18 years old to subscribe and get access to our partners.

How do I access the myGymDiscounts, myActivediscounts and MyHealthDiscounts?

You will receive the register link in the welcome email. You can also access the register link in the discounts channel on the community group

I haven't received my AthleteMe Welcome email, what do I do?

Please e-mail welcome@athleteme.org with your name and your AthleteMe subscription email address and we will investigate to get back to you asap!

I need to update my payment details for my AthleteMe subscription, what do I do?

Please e-mail your name and the email address you signed up with to welcome@athleteme.org and we will have a secure link sent out to you to update your details.

Please do not send us any bank account or card details over email.

I haven’t received my email from SquareHealth to register for the clinic in a pocket app, what do I do?

It can take up to 24 hours for the email to arrive from SquareHealth asking you to verify your account and access your account, however often it is much sooner.

If you haven’t received an email within 24 hours, please email welcome@athleteme.org with your name and your AthleteMe subscription email address and we will get back you asap.

I received my email from SquareHealth to verify my account and change my temporary password however the link has expired, what do I do?

Your temporary password from SquareHealth is only valid for 24 hours, therefore if your link has expired - please email welcome@athleteme.org with your name and your AthleteMe subscription email address and we will send you a new link!
